Our programme to understand more about how local urgent care services are meeting people's needs continued as Healthwatch Rutland recently visited the Corby Urgent Care Centre.
Our work over the past year has focused on ensuring that the public and patient voice is championed in the development of health and social care services to meet the needs of the Rutland community.
We want to be sure that everyone has an equal opportunity to take part in Connected Together activity and recognise that no-one should lose out through incurring costs associated with their volunteering.
This policy refers to children and young people (CYP). For the purposes of this policy a child, as defined by the Children Act 1989 and 2004, is anyone who has not yet reached their 18th birthday.
The purpose of this policy is to outline the duty and responsibilities of staff, Board members and volunteers in relation to the protection of vulnerable adults from abuse.
Occasionally issues can arise when someone is volunteering with us. It is important to have procedures in place to help deal with any issues before they become bigger problems
It is very important that every member of staff and volunteer who works with CTCIC/Local Healthwatch is aware of their role and responsibilities online and have clear guidelines under which to operate.
