Healthwatch Rutland Community Engagement Officer

Hours: Part-time, 18 hours per week, working days to be agreed

Salary: £12,850

Are you passionate about patient and public engagement to improve services?

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team to lead on the development and support of our volunteer base, to engage with communities and involve local people in our work and to help people who need information and signposting to health and care services.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience of recruiting, supporting and motivating volunteers to gather experiences of health and social care effectively
  • Experience of working with different communities and engaging the public, of all ages, both face-to-face and online
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including report-writing

The role is home-based, working flexibly in community settings as required.
