Whenever we visit Peppers, we receive a warm, friendly welcome. It’s great to see a room full of people connecting whether it be over a cup of tea or playing board games. We arrived before a group singing session began and were surprised at the range of activities Peppers now offers to people, for free! They are currently providing a ‘have a go series’ which is part of Mental Health Awareness Month and includes activities such as self-defense, learning to knit and chair yoga.

"I’ve met lots of new friends at Peppers, it’s given me company and structure".

"It is really rewarding as a volunteer [to be part of Peppers]. I’m surprised at the friendships that people have made. It truly is a safe place with absolutely no judgement."
