Connected Together CIC, a not-for-profit organisation and social enterprise, has managed Healthwatch across the whole of Northamptonshire since April 2013. With the local councils now split into 2 unitary authorities the requirement is to have 2 new Healthwatch, West and North, representing people across the county with a more local focus from April 2025.

Cllr Matt Golby, Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Adult Care, Public Health and Regulatory Services at West Northamptonshire Council, said:

"We are delighted that Connected Together CIC has been awarded the grant to continue providing Healthwatch services for West Northamptonshire. This grant ensures that our residents will continue to have a strong, independent voice in health and social care matters. The work done by Healthwatch is invaluable in helping us understand the needs and experiences of our community, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact of their efforts over the next two years. We encourage everyone to get involved and share their stories to help shape the future of our local health and care services."
