Mental Health Awareness Week 2024

With the theme of "Moving more for our mental health", there's lots on offer during Mental Health Awareness Week which takes place from 13th to 19th May this year.

Activities throughout the week include:

Tuesday 14 May - join us at the Peppers Mental Health Cafe drop-in from 10.30am-12.30pm to chat about your health and care experiences over a relaxed cuppa (you'll find Peppers at 2a High Street, Oakham).

Wednesday 15 May, the Rural Coffee Connect van will be based at The Jackson Stops in Stretton between 10am and 3pm.  

Thursday 16 May is ‘wear it green’ day and the Rutland Council will be encouraging people to share pictures.

Friday 17 May, sees an organised hour-long walk setting out at 1.30pm from the Peppers Mental Health cafe - all are welcome and its free!

 Active Rutland’s Walking and Cycling Festival starts on Saturday May 18 and runs until the May 31
