Healthy Rutland Grant Scheme – applications invited
Rutland County Council has created a Healthy Rutland Grant Scheme for 2018/19 that will provide funding to encourage local projects that will improve health and wellbeing, promote independence and reduce the impact of long term health conditions.
Grants of up to £10,000 will be available for projects that encourage a positive effect on the community they serve.
Example projects include, but are not limited to:
- Gardening and Green Projects
- New Community Clubs
- Good Neighbour Schemes
- Healthy Eating Projects
- Lunch Clubs
- Inclusive Activities – walking football, buggy runs, chair exercise etc.
Application Deadline for the first round: 5pm, 30 November 2018
Further information about training sessions to support you in applying for the grants, guidance notes and application forms are all available from the Rutland Community Wellbeing Service at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau in Oakham.
