The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse is running a campaign to make victims and survivors aware that they can speak to the Inquiry through the Truth Project. The Truth Project enables victims and survivors of child sexual abuse to share their experiences with the Inquiry and choose to put forward recommendations for change, making an important contribution to the work of the Inquiry.
If you are a survivor of child sexual abuse you can share your experience by either attending a private and confidential face to face session, giving a written account or over the phone. Everyone is different and therefore you have the option to receive emotional support throughout the Truth Project process – the level of support you wish to receive is entirely up to you.
