Join the conversation about health and care in Rutland – let us know your views

The NHS in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland is changing, and it needs your help.

The Government is investing an extra £20bn a year in the NHS as part of the NHS Long Term Plan. Now you can help your local NHS invest in the right support by sharing your ideas with us. Healthwatch Rutland has launched ‘What Would You Do?’ surveys to gather your feedback on ways to improve local NHS services.

Your views matter
Take part in a survey today by following the links below. There’s a short general survey to tell us how well you think your local health services are working and how they can be improved, and a second survey to tell us about specific long-term conditions such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, mental health, learning disability, etc., and how you think care can be improved. You can complete one or both of the surveys.

To complement the survey work, Healthwatch Rutland will be running engagement meetings with people living with learning disabilities/autism and people living with dementia and their carers, over the next few weeks.

The Long Term Plan includes ways of providing better support for people with cancer, mental health conditions, heart and lung diseases, long-term conditions, such as diabetes and arthritis, learning disabilities, autism, and for people as they get older and experience conditions such as dementia.

If you are affected by any of these conditions you may also want to complete this second survey:
