- Able to express your views clearly and concisely?
Then you may be interested in becoming a Patient Partner. Patient Partners help the NHS to shape services by providing a patient’s / carer’s perspective on boards, committees and other groups. Patient Partners also get involved in a wide range of projects including; seeking patient views, reviewing complaints, giving input on new developments and commenting on information leaflets and letters.
We currently have a range of exciting opportunities for Patient Partners, both in Leicester’s Hospitals and in the wider healthcare system.

At Leicester’s Hospitals (Leicester General Hospital, Glenfield Hospital and the Royal Infirmary)
At Leicester’s Hospitals we are looking for patient Partners for the following areas;
- Intensive Care, Theatres, Anaesthetics, Pain and Sleep
- Emergency Department
- Specialist Medicine
- Cancer, Haematology, Urology and Gastroenterology

At Community Hospitals and other community settings
LLR Alliance is an NHS partnership of the main health organisations in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The Alliance delivers patient care from the Community Hospitals and also a number of doctor’s surgeries in the City and County. We have a very active and inclusive Patient and Public Partnership Group who are central to shaping future service and in helping us make the right decisions for patients.
